Education
From the beginning, one of the main goals of NARA wasn’t only to practice journalism but to help usher in a new generation of creators and consumers who are able to think critically.
Working with schoolchildren, students, and adults, the NARA team teaches the basics of media literacy and journalism, photography, and audio-visual fundamentals. We seek to identify and explain transformations in a rapidly changing journalism environment. Individual team members give presentations at local and international media and civil society conferences.
